Important: Freeze Warning & Cold Weather Advisory – Actions Needed

Dear Customers,
Please be advised of the following alerts issued for our region:
- Freeze Warning: In effect from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
- Cold Weather Advisory: In effect from 9:00 PM CST tonight to 9:00 AM CST Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Key Impacts:
- Wind chills as low as 14°F.
- Temperatures as low as 29°F.
- Prolonged exposure to cold can lead to hypothermia. Frost and freeze conditions can harm crops, vegetation, and unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Recommended Actions:
- Protect People: Limit outdoor exposure and dress warmly.
- Protect Pets: Bring pets indoors to ensure their safety.
- Protect Pipes: Wrap and insulate outdoor plumbing to avoid damage.
- Protect Plants: Cover sensitive plants or move them indoors if possible.
